Description
ViK Duality 6 “Mother” is, without a doubt, one of the most important projects I’ve ever worked on.
It was created with several purposes in mind:
– It is officially the 100th ViK Duality ever made, bearing the serial number 224100.
– It’s one of the featured “ViK Guitars 15th Anniversary” showcase builds, marking a milestone we celebrated in August 2022.
– It may well be the last fully hand-carved Duality, serving as the blueprint for all future models to come. This guitar was carefully and meticulously crafted as the prototype that was then digitized for CNC processing and modern production — the origin point of the next generation.
That’s where the name “Mother” comes from.
The build features one of the most spectacular quilted maple tops ever used on a Duality, paired with a phenomenal selection of tonewoods and marked by a custom 15th Anniversary inlay.
This instrument is more than just a guitar — it’s the beginning of a new chapter and the face of all Dualities to come.
